Left Belfast on Sunday afternoon and took the A2 coast road all the way down through Donaghadee to Portaferry.. Lucky to arrive as the ferry was just about to depart to Strangford
Seems someone made a bit of a journey from the Isle of Man to Strangford..

Looks like you had a good run home Padge. The feckin fog never lifted from here all day. :(

Defintely a nice run.. It's pretty much on your doorstep, but you seem to be keeping this part of the world secret!!! Don't want us sotheners clogging up your fun roads?

Cheers for the run on Saturday (that goes for Shinobi, Sugarcube and Tuned too)... I took a much more leisurely pace on sunday. Wish I had started earlier to get more time around the Mournes, but was a bit under the weather from a late Saturday night:beer:

Yes that's partly true, but there are a few other lads up here who know east Down and the Mournes much much better than I. :blast

Maybe we could persuade Alte, Mzokk, Schwarz Baron or the Wizard to organise something when the weather is more favourable. It is a beautiful area with some cracking roads and would make for a great GSing day out.

Any of you guys interested in putting something together? I'm sure there would be a lot of interest in it. :)

No Probs, I'll put me thinking cap on:thumb2 Great photos BTW Padge.

On the positive side most of me hairs white (or has fallen out) anyway:D

Get well soon:beerjug:

Ach, bugger, he beat me to it :augie

Maybe youse could pool your collective knowledge to come up with a good interesting route for us who don't know east Down and the Mournes as well as you guys. :augie

I was thinking of April or May when the weather should be good, but I'll leave it up to the organisers. :)

No way in hell am I horning in on Marcus' plans...... we'd spend his half of the run on great roads, and my half in great cafes :o
