CoLight Aux Lights - Fitting & Thoughts

Hello,
I have to replaced my aux lights (cheap one's) that got water inside despide I reinforced their waterproofness. Anyway.I already have an ezCan too, and a clean homemade wiring harness from the eZcan at the back of the bike, to bring the 4 channels to the front : 2 to the left, 2 to the right. I took me hours of unmounting/mounting the bike (including the tank, that's mandatory to my mind), measuring the right length for each cable, but all together, but I got a neat result (also added a relay + switch before the ezCan + a switch to simulate the horn button + ...) . Here are some pictures of the harness for the curious ones, without/with the extra stuff (relay, switches). It fits on a KTM 1290SAR.

Benefits :
- The tank can be removed for any mecanical intervention, without having the unplug the harness (it follows the bike frame, along the builtin stock harness)
- I can remove and unplug the lights in a matter of 2 minutes, which is necessary to remove the extension protection bar
- Today, I just have to replace the lights. No cables/wires to put along the bike, requiring to umount/mount pieces of the bike (or mostly)

I was using only 2 channels until now. So the 4 channels are available for the new lights. I don't want to cut any existing cable. I want to build short adapter cables that will be between the Colight lights connectors and my harness connectors.

So I only have one matter to figure out, if you can tell me : what is the reference / name / spec of the 4-pin male connector (D09 Pro) ? I want to buy the male version to build my own adapter cables.
It looks like these connectors, but there are many sizes : connectors

Thank you so much for all the sharing and the ideas here !

Hi I have the D09 pros and I wanted to use all 4 circuits on the ezcan.
I’ve wired the high beam(top 4 leds) to red circuit and a ground wire.
Low beam (bottom 4 leds) to the blue circuit
Yellow rings to the yellow and white circuits for drl/indicator lights left and right.
But can’t get the top 4 leds to flash or come on when I have high beam on or flash the high beam.
Yet if I disconnect the blue circuit I get all LEDs (top 4 and bottom 4 and centre) come on when high beam is on, or I flash.
Is there something I’m missing or can I not have the top 4 and centre LEDs come on when high beam is on. And lower 4 LEDs on when dipped beam is on. ??

I've wired mine in same way, havent programmed the Hex yet.
Did you set the hi beams reds as a light set/ psir and same for the dipped blue ?

How have you configured the 4 channels on your Hex? Aux lights 1 and 2, and what else?

Assuming you have the high beam / red circuit configured as aux lights 1 or 2 and your low beam configured as the other (not the same) aux light channel? Anything configured as an aux light should flash on high beam.

I used solder free connectors, so just a bit of heat and wire strippers.

Same, those connectors with the solder already in that you just heat up.

For now mine are just connected with Wago’s while I’m testing different configs out

I did a video review of the D07 Pro’s if you’d like a link? I show how I wired it up in that video, I’m not an expert when it comes to wiring
Would you 3 kindly share the connectors you used and where you bought them from please? I've ordered the D09 Pro (combo I think), a new Ezcan and am just needing something to connect the wires from the colight to the ezcan plugs but I don't have any soldering equipment NOR experience :D

I used the waco clip in connectors, taped them up and it all worked. Didnt bother soldering.

Does anybody knows if D09 Pro are “smart”? Can they be hooked up to EZbus (white channel)?

No they aren’t unfortunately
I just ordered them and am trying to figure out how to wire them to EZcan... i will probably use all 4 channels, 2 for turn signal functionality and 2 for hi/low beams... Thanks for replying.

Exactly as i have, there's an excellant thread on this further back which i found really helpful

No worries! This is how I have them wired in

Not fitted it or the Colights yet. Hopefully will find time this coming week.
I had the Denali B6 rear light on my lasbike and this one from Aliexpress looks identical and only £20...
Hi do you mind sharing the link for this Brake Light that you found on Aliexpress, thanks
