Any ideas?

Idle is up around 1.8-2 k. I have run the gs 911 to calibrate the idle. It’s still the same.

The cable running from the throttle, down behind the steering column seems really sensitive.

I’ve check both throttle bodies. Both are seated properly, I’ve checked the splitter box. Both cables running to the throttle bodies seem seated properly.

I’m a a bit of a loss.

On the positive I’ve ZERO fault codes.

Idling lower but high. Did a tps reset.

Ignition on twisted the throttle three times, turned it off.

Will balancing the throttle bodies cure the rising falling in Revs?

I appreciate you are all off enjoying your Saturdays but if you have time later to offer a few opinions.

Oh and one of the six month old kittens is missing six hours now…

I know i need to bleed the brakes and go fir a spin, get up to temp and go from tgere

I’m gonna dig deep. Nd bleed the brakes. I’m not going to have a strop online so I’ll leave you to imagine what that looks like.

Ok I’ve the idke good. I’ve been resetting calibrations. I really need to bled the brakes and go for a spin. I’ve gotten the abs flush to work and I’ve been able to set the idle actuators … head is melted

800 ml of brake fluid later and I’m still not convinced. New pads possibly the cause but pads removed, wooden spacers inserted, pistons fully back, cable tie on front and weight on back. On side stand handlebars turned left. My next day off is Tuesday.

Took it out for a brief spin round Estate. Need to balance throttle bodied but did the idle set with the 911. Bit lumpy at idle so I guess I’ll check everything is clean BUT it ran great, really wanted to go. I just need confidence in my brakes. Guess I don’t have that confidence in myself…

I’ll get them checked if needs be

The 911, how many abs flushes does it take? How much fluid should I push through on each side of the front? Back seems ok

I might have let the front reservoir run dry twice. Enough is enough, I’ll Chevk fluid levels in the morning but it’ll be Tuesday…

Also, forgot to mention, the throttle cable is held by two plastic clips under the tank. . In my case, it was also trapped behind a cable tie I’d added to secure the spots cables. Everything was much happier after I freed it.

The kitten has returned. Yiu can all sleep easy now

And, not to overshadow my success, I replaced the motor on my abs pump. I need to take the wins.

If I can get comfortable with the brakes I’m done. I’ll balance the throttle bodies n Tuesday and clean out same perhaps but the bike is done.

To be done in round two:

Fork seals
Seat refoam/ cover
Side stand bushes
Powdercost luggage racks.
Replace screen unless it’s cleanable. It’s green
Fit bash plate when landmark John gets his new one and I get his castoffs

Ah I get it lol.

Where the washing line is - it will be covered. Thinking washing line, covered patio type area. I’ve a side of a semi d I’ll cover over the winter. The bike will go there. Also, after seeing what four years, uncovered on the side stand has done to my bike, I’ll be keeping it on the center stand.

This is the best I’ve had Tim. Everything secure. Side gate widened to get the bike in. I’m sure there are other ones to have but I’m living the dream
