Just looking for car insurance quotes and as per usual do the comparison sites first to get a couple in the bag, before selecting a couple of other companies to check.

Not sure if it’s a new thing, but some of the quotes I get back from the system are all incorrect information when you go to individual sites to read finer details.

I have check my original inputs but the companies seem to have started adjusting the info to pop to the top of the comparison lists.

I have never experienced this before. Be warded if you need it, to not just click buy.

Very underhand practice I have not seen before, it’s so time consuming buying insurance, now adding this into the mix.

I had the same this year with my car insurance and thought it was just me.

I filled in the details on compare the market and went with Ageas.
I then received an email a week later to say i hadnt included the accident my wife had 3 years ago?
This was on the compare site.
I had to pay £111 over the phone.

I could have gone with someone else cheaper!

To be fair, i said i would never insure with Ageas again after they refused to repair my mums roof after a storm, saying it wasn't classed as a storm.

So my own fault for going back on my word.... never again, Bastards!
