I have been stripping a few bits of the BM

I have unpluged the sat nav and a radio off the RT etc and was wondering what to do with the connector that is left wired to bike


I suppose these are live and figured best to tape it over.Keep water out
However I reckon it would be best to fit a blank over them

What do you lot do ,is it possible to buy blanks ,there seems to be loads of different plugs

tape it up job done,dont make it any harder than it needs to be.

I'd use self-amalgamating tape

(No, actually I wouldn't, I'd have just cable tied it out of the way with two inches of duct tape or insulating tape over it, but it sounds like you want to do a proper job)

water plus salt off roads = corrosive substance

add 12 volts and bingo next summer you go to it and the pins are corroded away and repairs needed

stuff it full of vaseline or tape it up with amalgamating tape and secure if from flying about with a cable tie
