Connemara today

Great 150 mile spin today with BSD, the roads were almost traffic free. We did a bit of bog road as well.

All my pics are about the same as Pat's.Weather was good,roads were great..didn't have much time to stop for pics..enjoying the ride too much.

Apologies if we were a bit late on posting about the spin..not planned,just confirmed on Friday.Very unsual for me to get a Saturday off work.

You are good. Today was bliss, I have done these roads on every type of bike. 05 R1 was misery a bit like a rodeo ride. Heven on a GS.
When you are coming over PM me and we will do the route.

You lucky lucky ******** . I love the Conemara area. Stayed a few times with a fella called Tommy Coyne. One of these days I'm going to take him up on his offer to fish for trout on the fly.

And i love N Yorks, grew up in Woodhouse, love Leeds, the market, Squires, Devil's Bridge, The Palace pub Kirkgate. I go to Leeds on the bike every 2 months. Get a few Tossers together and myself and BSD will organise a run in Connemara On and off road.

I came across this area unknowingly a few years back after an unpanned tour.

I know this scene well. The weather had been howling for days and as we followed the road around we were blessed with the sight of a proper full blown twister over the water.



Beautiful area indeed.
