Looking for some where cool and interesting to go on the bike to this weekend in Scotland. Somewhere that I can maybe go and do a bit on exploring when I get there.

So, do you want to camp, stay in a hostel or B&B or a hotel?

In any event, get on the bike, ride to Corran Ferry, outside Fort Bill, cross over into Ardgour, head for Strontian, turn left just before you get there and ride to Lochaline. Get the ferry across to Fishnish on the Isle of Mull.

Either go and find stuff or accommodation / camping suggestions can be supplied on request.

Abroath Abbey on saturday an event for the anniversary of the declaration

Head to Oban, ferry to Loch Boisdale, up through the islands to Harris, stay in a Ratcliffe Trust hostel of which there are a few in the outer isles, ferry back to Ullapool on Sunday and ride home
Or if the ferry times don't all work out, head for Mallaig, up through Skye, ferry to Tarbert in Harris and carry on as above
Or a mix of the above

+1 Bathgate to Moffat-Dumfires- Newton Stewart-Portpatrick. Sooth Ayrshire & The Mull O Galloway gets my vote.
