Corrosion Warranty

Hi All,
I have an 05 1200GS which is suffering from quite bad corrosion.
It appears on the gear box, final drive, fuel filler cap, and around the headlight mounting chassis, as well as the obvious places like under the alternator support cover.
The bike is garaged and washed often, but even the jap crap that i have owned never suffered this badly from corrosion.

Does anyone know if BMW offer any sort of corrosion warranty?
The bike is now out of the standard 3 yr warranty.

Hi Simon

Standard warranty in UK is 2 years. If bike has a full BMv service history and you have a good relationship with your dealer you may get a goodwill contribution, but to be honest Lewis Hamilton has more chance of getting a fair decision than you will have, good luck though.
