Just been quoted £375+ for 24K service by NoG:eek:. Does this compare favourably with other dealers or should i start doing it myself?
Apart from oil & filter and air filter change what else gets done. I had brake/clutch fluids and gearbox oil changed at the 18k service.

your help/advice is appreciated.

Can't remember the exact amount but mine was under £300 - mine was done right at the end of the biking season; might get more expensive as we approach Spring?

Hmmm... think all the plugs are replaced; valve clearances checked; brake dismantle and clean - ABS bikes are more expensive than non-ABS I think.

£246.00 (inc VAT) at Clarkes last month for 24k on my 1200ADV.

Engine and gearbox oil where done and all filters. Don`t know what else they do but they charged for 2.2 hours.

They didn`t do the plugs though because I`ve just fitted NGK Iridiums which are superb:thumb

Not sure the charge for plugs should be much but I have heard it could be high!

Hope this helps.

Just phoned Bahnstormer and was quoted £480 + i would have to pay for a hire bike.

Its suddenly an expensive world.
