I had a mechanic give her a look over. I explained the problem, showed him the area giving the problem and told him the advice I've had. He just laughed and said it was the oil filter.
Sure enough, popped it out, it was clogged solid since the mechanic didn't bother to change it at the last service. Also it was a K&N and they're apparently more prone to it.
I never even thought of something so obvious!
So it looks like she's got no major issues, when an experienced mechanic gives you advice that doesn't cost you any money, you should probably listen.
