They can try!Well that’s a bonus! So you can do any mileage you like and they can’t charge you for it!

Looks like it - same clause is mentioned later in the document also. I think they'd have a hard time charging me for over mileage!Well that’s a bonus! So you can do any mileage you like and they can’t charge you for it!
I think paint correction pre ceramic coating is things like getting swirling out and any small imperfections before the ceramic is applied. I maybe wrong thoughPaint correction?
Does it need it?

Since I’ve taken a couple of cars to a guy locally who does detailing and interiors (he did Chris Harris’ interior on an M5 estate in some horrible green or yellow colour that Harris wanted) I’m cursed with seeing paint faults, even on brand new and newly painted carsPaint correction?
Does it need it?
No, just swirlies. The actual paint looks pretty good, and the Norton logo on the tank is hand painted on, as are the pin stripesGotcha.
Didn't realise it referred to swirls etc, was thinking more faults like chips / painting errors etc.
Would make sense with this loss leading offer on these 961's.As a by the by, the chap at Southdown said Norton have 5-6 new models in the pipeline, being worked on in utmost secrecy at Norton HQ.
They need something, since the 961’s and the V4’s too, I guess, are not type approved/homologated. I don’t know how this works but there must be some kind of limit on production numbers which is going to leave nothing to sell pretty soon.

Clever.It's the CCM way
Make them in 250 batch runs and call them a different model Bobber/Spitfire etc and you don't need homologation
Might be a daft question, but assuming you've got it on the silly PCP deal so are handing it back at the end why are you getting it detailed and ceramic coated?Picked mine up today, in the van. It was a very amiable and old-school handover by Andrew at South Downs Motorcycles. They even gave me a really nice Delrin key for the oil filler, which is in a bit of an awkward position and it looks like it would be easy to damage the tank without one.
It came data tagged, which is good but I wish I’d known as it might have saved a tenner on the insurance, a nice kind of combined manual and brochure in the shape of a vynyl LP.
Basically, it has a key that goes in the ignition and a button to press, and that’s it!
Marvellous. It sounds great.
Suspenders look good, Ohlins front with preload, rebound and comp, Ohlins rear with I think just preload on the remote reservoir. I will ride it a bit then have a fiddle.
It’s off to the detailer on Tuesday, to get a bit of paint correction and a ceramic coat, then it’ll be good for the road!
Did I mention it sounds great?
