Crazy Price Norton Commando PCP Deal

Deal still on at my local dealer who posted a video this morning explaining the deal. Norton will end the offer once they have achieved their objectives.

Bikes are Solihull built.

optional final payment of £12013 but doesn’t show any t&c’s?

The final payment owed is this the GFV meaning you can walk away owning £0 or is there something in the terms that suggests other, ie you put 2k extra on the bike and not only have you paid per mile but now it’s worth £4K less so you can’t just walk away without being fleeced.

The gfv is exactly that - it’s the amount you owe at the end of the deal. If you do extra mileage there’s a fee per mile but it doesn’t affect the gfv.

there’ll be some kind of condition clause that takes account wear and tear but if you bring it back in and it’s been down the road or you’ve rallied it to death they’ll deduct money, if you hand it back.

Well, the deal is done with South Downs Motorcycles. They told me the deal runs till 31/12/24.

£100 deposit, 23 x £67 and £12k odd final payment. OTR was about £180 or so - tax and registration fee.
I see they a have few new bikes marked as 'reserved' on the website

Is yours one of those Martin?

It's tempting on the cost alone.

But not sure I'm quite old enough for one.

If it was 100hp maybe. :ROFLMAO:

I’ve got 100hp bikes but I’m looking forward to this.

Only question is what do I do with my T120, which kind of does the same job as the Norton

I did see there listing on eBay, I wasn’t aware they’re doing £55 deal.

Im going to give them call tomorrow.

A request to you lads going for this deal/bike.

I for one would be interested to know how you got on with both (real world - ALL costs) buying the bike and then running it? It all sounds slightly too good to be true and we all know what that means.

Just interested - Cheers..... :beerjug:

I must confess that I've been thinking this all along but......if a backer is canny and accepts a bit of a loss in order to get a full order book and their bikes out and about on sunny days (as 3rd bikes for many I'd guess), it may do the brand the world of good? No idea how much an ad campaign would be but perhaps this way is as cheap/expensive, gets them seen by other 'buyers'/talked about on forums and as it's a PCP, the bikes aren't likely to be put straight into museums or collections...but lightly and caefully ridden (or ragged and paid off in full at the end...which is a win I suppose)

So you ride their new £16,000 bike for 2 years, and pay them £1375.00 ?

Cheap biking.

Exactly… I was thinking it’s too good to be true, I don’t do finance/pcp but when the odds stack in your favour why not, my plan would be to use it, trip to Spain in June, I don’t ride much here so the odd day out, I keep my stuff in mint condition so at the end I’d return the bike.

1.90 a day to rent a Norton.

This is no brainer territory

Will be interesting to read the reviews in 12 months, when you all return your bikes.

Suspect that in 2 years time there will be a good supply of low mileage mint Commandos as returned bikes sit in dealers or at Norton HQ awaiting new owners. Don't think they will actually be worth the PCP final payment figure of around £12k when the new cash price today is only another £1500 more, which is why most folk will just hand it back after 2 years. History tells us that in this situation prices will fall so there will be some very keenly priced bikes on the market.

As others have said, no brainer at the current deals.
