Great report, great photos. Wished I saw it during the planning stages - would liked to have tagged along!

I've always wanted to do a similar trip, particularly to visit places like Colditz and Auschwitz. Does anyone have any GPS files, or POIs etc? I've never been into Germany or Poland, and whilst I can plot somethign in MapSource, I'm not sure of best routes in and out?

Failing that, is there likely to be another trip next year?

Not likely to be going that way next year

We were also happy with all the accomodation and as the routing takes you door to door you could just follow the GPS
