I tried a R King last year but found the riding position wasnt so great - isnt it the same as a Glide? 
I do like the look of the Street but would really like the pillion comfort for the GF as we have longer Euro tours planned. We still wanna keep the GS for Highland tours which are often in crap weather but fancy the full thing over longer trips - hence cruise control. I've never tried c/control but would think it's be excellent for autoroutes etc.
Maybe a Classic is sufficient then?
I prefer the Classic looks in vivid black and the appearance of the clocks and the pannier rails
