cruise control question

iv been looking at the cruise control on NN an have a few questions about them

1) how east are they to attach? have read on here that they can mess with the heated grips if not done right?

2) how easy are they to turn off? as in if some idiot pulls out in front of me
is just winding down the accelerator turn it off or do you have to unscrew it separately if you know what i mean?

I've got one as well - works fine, quarter of the price of the NN one, and you can swap it from bike to bike as well

I went for the JAws version of the throttle lock, quite pleased with it, easy to fit (tho not as quick as the other mention) looks pretty integrated and works well if a little fiddly (ie two handed) to actuate.
I t works the same as the NN version AKAIKand to slow down you just wind off the throttle. NB this does not dis-engage the lock just over-rides its frictional grip, a quick flick with the little finger winds it off.

Good for longer runs on fairly flattish roads

+1 For Jaws throttle lock, easy to fit & looks the part too. Little bit of 3 in 1 every now & then keeps the operation of it nice & smooth, can be operated with one hand.

Or you could look in the vendor section as someone in there sells something like the go cruise one for half the price, had one on mine for a while now and works a treat, if i remember it was about £10 delivered

easy to fit and simple to use.

Before long motorway journey, I make sure its loose, because I find that it tightens up when not used regulary and can be awkward to utilise whilst on the move. The main benefits are that it helps with MPG on long motorway stretches and with the old arthritus.
