Cruise Control Recall

Just received a recall to have the throttle twistgrip replaced due to potential issues related to the Cruise Control and operation of an Emergency-operation program in the ECU.

Anyone else had this yet? Or have I missed an earlier post

No letter from BMW or Robsons, bike was in for its first service today

mine reg in April.. was told by technician that at that moment in time only doing upgrade if there was a problem.. and mine had played up..

In what way?

when I went to change the set up on the ESA,, it didn't work....

after stopping and starting twice it rebooted it self and was ok.. but at first service they updated it

It was delivered ready for the release, so I guess would be one of the first.

I asked my dealer about this today, but apparently it's not a general recall.

Took my May '13 bike in yesterday to have the switch gear on the right bar replaced having already had the left hand side done.....apparently I have to take mine back for the twist grip to be replaced as its a warranty recall

But they are on surprises surprises BACK ORDER

Will keep you posted.......
