Hi Guys

Does anyone have any experience of fitting a after Market cruise control on the 800? Not to be confused with a throttle lock which is a completely different thing, I have seen a few after Market ones and would like to hear if anyone has had any good or bad experiences with them, well Harley do it on their bikes so why shouldn't we have them fitted.

I look forward to hearing all your sensible comments, and as they say if you don't have anything sensible to say then just please don't.

Many thanks

Mark.

I had the throttle lock but couldnt get on with it.
Will keep an eye on this thread to see what others come back with :thumb2

Mark was it to make distance riding a bit more comfortable or to take your your throttle hand off to rest it ?

I have the one advertised by Outrunner and it really does the job. It`s cheap and takes just a second to fit.It allows you to rest your right hand(ooh er missus)but its not cruise control. It will maintain your speed on the flat but as it doesn`t open or close the throttle you will slow for hills. If you are experiencing a bit of cramping you could also try Grip Puppies,I use both and it`s made a heck of a difference in comfort :thumb

Thanks Guys for your comments, I have already found the cruise control but just wondered if anyone had any experience with them, not the throttle locks as they are completely different things but thanks anyway.

Regards

Mark

Motorcycle cruise.

I have fitted the motorcycle cruise control to my GS1200, extremely well made, designed for each individual bike, fits very well and works well, just very expensive!!!

The Audiovox cruise control can be put on just about anything. I think it is called a CCS100.
They are very good on long trips and work 95% of the time.
I have one on my Spyder and I will put one on an F650 when I get one.
