Cruise Control

Anybody tried the Cruise Control from Wunderlich yet?

Use electronic version on my other bike, not sure about manual locking of throttle though!

Any advice anyone?

Mum in law bought me one as a birthday present. I use it on the motorways, sometimes, depending on traffic flow/volume - but I wouldn't pay the price for one, myself. It's value depends upon how quickly you like to travel & I find that my preferred cruising speed means that I have to have more control of the throttle as I slow down, approaching slower moving traffic, then speed up past it when I can. Consequently, I don't "cruise" much......

Can't get the throttlemeister to work?

The normal reason is the restriction imposed by handguards.

Try putting a Jubilee clip around it, cover with self amalgamating electrical tape - dead easy to operate with the outside edge of the right hand and fat fingers.
You could use ordinary insulating tape but the self amalgamating type has a higher coefficient of friction (soft rubber type material).
Position the clip with the screw uppermost and check suitability of position before covering with tape.

Or buy one of the South African jobbies with slotted ring built in.
Gap between grip and brass face of the t'meister with heated grips 20 thou.

Anybody tried the Cruise Control from Wunderlich yet?
Yeh, used it on my Africa Twin for a year & have been using it nearly two years on the GS. Easy to operate with the hand guards, even when wearing winter gloves. Its my must have accesory as i've got that bloody RSI complaint. If the handlebar inner has been pushed in, you will have to insert a washer inside the control to give it the opperating clearance needed.
