Can't go far wrong at that price! I might be tempted to try something similar myself for that sort of money...

Could these be suitable, they come in Small / Medium / Large sizes, and not having been on a horse, i would assume a small or medium would be "Bike Saddle" size?

I went to Ikea in Southampton with the wife and despite the tedium of endless Swedish flatpack, I came away with a large white long-haired sheepskin for £22 which is a perfect fit for the bike (presumably its normally used as a rug).

They also do a grey short-haired version for £15 which probably looks more suitable on the bike, but I wanted the 'deep pile' comfort for my deep piles.

It makes the bike look like a polar bear has died whilst riding pillion, but for £22 it should be nice in the winter and for long distance riding.

Haven't worked that one out yet, but will probably buy some flat elastic webbing and sew it on the rough leather hide underface of the sheepskin to hold it on 'seatcover style'.

Due to the rough leather/suede hide underface, it hardly moves when laid on the seat anyway.

The best seat I ever had was a Corbin one on a previous bike - if I had the chance to get hold of another at a reasonable price , I 'd snap it up .

dont get seat saver it is not biggerenough plus it is only thin I tried one little better but nothing like as good as shires saddle pad they fit the bike well for the money and have 2 straps that just fit over the steel rod under your seat
