Curvy Roads - help please

I have been following Hamslay's thread here and thought it best to start a new one as the topic is slightly different.

I've never bothered with the curvy roads feature until I decided last weekend to see how it would change a route I use regularly. This is not a route created in Basecamp and uploaded. I simply set the destination on the Nav 5 where I was at the time, but having entered the location, could I find how to change the route it gave me to curvy roads? Still can't!

Hamslay's thread clears up how to change an uploaded route to curvy roads but what about a route you create from scratch on the unit itself?

PS Don't forget to change it back when you've finished. Otherwise you'll be wondering why the device keeps on taking you off the motorway at every junction, when all you want to be doing is taking the fastest route home.
