Apparently, there's a lot of stainless steel. What is the scrap value of stainless steel?
Over the last year or two original /7 series airheads have really started to catch my eye... maybe a nice R100S??
So it really bothers me when you see something like this... quite possibly that was a decent donor bike 12 months ago. This fella should never be allowed near motorcycles again.

Injecting a little bit of realism into this thread, yes it’s hideous but providing the core bike is in good fettle and with a bit of haggling there could be a decent bike ready to emerge at the price that’s being asked.
so he has turned it into a rigid with shocks for back up when those spindly stainless bars give up

It would have to be pretty cheap. You would need to source a tank, seat, rear subframe, exhaust and mudguards to make anything of it and fairly tidy, original R65LS can still be had at reasonable prices.
How do bikes like this with structural modifications, in this case, a dodgy looking rear subframe get an MOT. I wouldn’t risk my neck on this bike at any price.

Not really sure what’s holding that rear wheel in position either.
