I hate poor service,and when I get good service I feel it should be recognised.As a shorter gentleman of only 5ft 7'' I bought my gs with a certain amount of trepidation regarding seat height,Cymarc,a British manufacturer of motorcycle parts for our beloved bmws.produce a seat lowering kit that replaces the rubber items that are standard fitment on the gs.This consists of offset shims that lower the seat height by 10mm and fits in minutes and costs less than 30 quid,cymarc's customer service is second to none,and I'm fussy, check out their website!

I'm a short @rse too and although I have got used to the height of my lowered seat and lean the bike over when stopped, I have found cambers can be tricky.
All it takes is a bit of gravel under my foot for things to get a bit dicey....so I'm going to give these a go too if it will help to get more of a flat foot down.
