dakar 21" or 19" front wheel

hi all as above
i have just bought a 19" front wheel to put on my 05 twin spark dakar. will i be a fool in doing this ? .
please also note i only intend to use the bike for road use only.

I run a 19" front wheel on a 2003 Dakar, works great for me. Have even thought about doing the same on my 800gs, but don't see that many second hand front wheels for sale for the 800.
