Dakar low seat option?

Does anyone know the seat height of the low option for the 650 GS Dakar? being a short arse I need my feet planted and the standard seat seems too high!

Hi Dude.
Welcome.
My one, Sarah Teach, is 5'2" and she has a 650GS, standard not factory lowered. To help her wth the height, I purchased an Wunderlich ERGO Low seat from Nippy Norman. It transformed the bike into a perfect machine for her.
But the mod came with a £250ish price tag, although expensive it gave her plenty of reassurance knowing that the ground ain't to far away should she need a dab.

Thanks for the info Timpo! I was talking to Steve at North Oxford BMW and he was telling me about you! I even tested a Tenere on his recommendation. Loved the bike but it was so tall my 29 inch leg was way too short. Do you know whether they have a very low seat option on the yam? If not I`ll look into wunderliching a Dakar.

BG, I got a message from Possu saying yopu might call, no problem.
I'm not aware of a low seat for Tenere yet.....
I am 5'8" and 30" leg and have no problem with Yam seat height. I also have 1200GSA which is a wider bike so adds to a tall seat, but I manage.
The webpage I linked gives good detail of seat combinations as not all the 650 range seat are the same, so some drastic height reduction can be gained with a seat swap.
