Dammit - RealDownloader - Isn't !!

Not sure when it failed on me ( no real problems etc ) but tried to download a vid using RealDownloader ( the box that opens up above the top right on U Tube etc ).. but now, NO box displaying!

Tried un-installing Real and installing again..still no joy although the Real jargon tells me I should be able to download. Even downloaeded a stand alone RealDownloader but that didn't work either ( un-installed the stand-alone program now )

Am I missing something silly?

i use another prog to download youtube vids. trouble is, every time youtube tweak their code, it stops working and i have to wait for an update to my downloader.

probably the same thing happening to you

Usually Real network works 100% and a box pops up over the top right hand of the U Tube vid....

...no more box popping up

Try YouTubeDownloader

Or if you're using Firefox, look for antvideo plug in on the Firefox homage (or www.ant.com), gives you a button on your toolbar

My Kaspersky Anti-Virus blocked the U Tube downloader as a maliscious URL

I assume it is OK though, just visited the website. Thanks

I do use it myself, with no problems so far

Occasionally as mentioned above, YouTube change something, but within a day or so, there's a new version out
