I'm 6ft and weigh 81 kgs. Obviously with bike clobber on a fair bit more. But with my missus on the back (she's about 69 kgs) and full luggage it's still fab.

Something sounds amiss...

I think the suspension is working as designed. There is a noticeable difference between road and dynamic. I have ridden an identical bike and it felt the same.

Traded in a Africa Twin 2018 Adventure Sports for the 21 GSA. Before that, water cooled 1200RT, Water cooled 1200GS, Air cooled RT, Kawasaki GTR, Blackbird, 1150 GSA - - - - - - -BSA in 1969 !

I think there must be something wrong with my ass. I can’t tell the difference between any of the settings or even the modes.

Maybe I’m just not a sensitive as I’d like to think I am.

I’m the same. I usually set it to road BUT some road surfaces on country roads I can almost feel seasick there is so much bounce and wallow.
Stick it into dynamic on the same surface and it’s fine.
It seems to be a very certain combination of my weight and particular frequency of undulations on some roads. I only ever noticed it when I moved onto this current version of ESA.

i leave my suspension in auto ,and i flick from road to dynamic regularly on the mode button,(rhs switch gear)
but yes you are correct allot of difference between road and dyna ,i see were you live and you probs ride the same roads as me dyna suits me 90% of the time
