Date readout

Was told by Vines that they weren't able to make the changes to the Date or Tyre pressure. I told them that I had read that a number of people had changes made to their bikes. Vines asked me to let them know who the dealers were, so they can speak to them.

So.....anyone that was able to have changes made, can you let me know who your dealer was and what they changed so I can pass it onto Vines.
Thanks

Woollaston in Northampton (01604 232000) changed tyre pressure from Bar to PSI for me although they did say you can't change the date format. :nenau

There doesn't seem to be any consistency.
Hammam from Canada says his dealer changed the Date and Clock

It does seem that many bikes are already in Euro Format which would indicate that it is changeable ? One think I also can't understand is why this isn't a user option ! My Touareg allows this plus I can also have a KPH speedo reading with a Digital MPH reading plus other choices.

Maybe its time to drop BMW HQ an email and ask them when they are going to provide a computer update to allow users to make these changes themselves. :thumb2

Sorry to bump a year old thread, but...

Having just picked up a WC on saturday and RTM, has any of the above issues been resolved...?

Caught out by date format!

I was caught out a few weeks ago when I turned the ignition on & was confronted with the message "service due before 6-5-14" (6th of May I assumed)
Damn, I'm sure it wasn't due till June! dug the service book out, confirmed my suspicions & then remembered the U.S.A. Date format doh! :blast
The pic in the owners manual even shows the date to be in uk/euro dd/mm/yy format.

I rang Clarks BMW and they said it can be changed by their software, so i went in this afternoon. Job done. However, they didn't alter the bar to psi on the tyre pressure read-out...
