FWIW, I left mine for a week, with the accessory plug left in, drained it flat, nothing zilch, managed to get the charge back, within about 4 hours. Don't know if it's true or not, but I was told, had I left it 2 weeks, the battery would have been dead......

After three days, the optimate claimed to have charged it. I unplugged it this morning, left it all day, and it started fine tonight.

It is back on charge, and I will ride it to work tomorrow, and see where it goes from there.

And chalk up yet another problem with my "premium quality" bike.
