hi guys can anyone help? went to the bike today and its dead, checked the battery voltage and it only has 3 volts so i have been and bought another battery the bike starts ok now but when you turn the bike off the dash keeps the mileage and time on all the time? i had the bike in to the local bmw garage last week to have the throttles sycronised and i haven`t ridden it since, could it be connected? the bike was plugged into the laptop for the work.

Its most likely a faulty ignition switch. Bike staying live will drain the battery in no time.
