Has anybody had any dealings with these people.

They're my nearest Dealer and I've used them for servicing and buying parts a number of times.
Not had any problems, found them helpful and informative.......no experience of other BMW dealers to compare against though.

Well i will either be looking at the 1200 Adv in there or servicing mine should i not sell it on here.

Probably not a good idea to trade in. Dont think i'll get much for mine that way

I bought my new GS from there in November. No complaints, except their charges for workshop time seem to be eye watering, but maybe that's a BMW thing.

No problems with Bath Road, bought my 1150 Adv there last June. Lat time I called in they were a wash with GS's , maybe open to an offer?

Beware, I've been led to belive that, Bath Road Motorcyles and Bristol Motorad are not the same business.

Bristol Motorad only seem to sell new BMW.???

Bath Road is an independant dealer wich enables them to sell all brands of used bikes.???

So the question is, will you get a used BMW prepared to the same as high standads as an aproved BMW dealer???

I bought a bike from Bath Road in 2001. At the time they were under pressure to isolate the BMW franchise from their other business interests (at the time they were parallel importing all sorts of bikes from the EU). Hence a few years ago they started trading under two names.

If you go to the BMW dealership website, the used bike section links to the Bath Road website. I imagine that any bike eligible for the BMW approved used bike scheme would be invoiced via BMW Motorrad and prepared to BMW standards.

I have no recent experience of Bath Rd. They were fine whilst I used them up until 2002 when Rydales in Cardiff opened. They seem to be very busy as they are constantly pestering Mike Pearce who set up as an independent in Cardiff to go to work for them.
