Deals on new bikes

Hi all,

I'm looking at buying a new F800GS in the next week or so. I know the pro's and con's of buying new and will live with both.

Bearing in mind the state of the economy and the time of year what kind of deal/price do you think I should realistically be looking at paying at a dealership?

Do you think they will drop on the price and if so by how much?

Or

Do you think I'm better off trying to get accessories added?

Has anyone bought one recently and if so what deal did you get?

I would go for added extra's like hand guards, and first 2 services free and anything else you'd like. If you don't ask, you don't get...

Been too 5 different dealers, bahnstormers is in its own league. Quality place with pleasant selling/buying atmosphere. You can also order all the TT stuff from them also.

Phone them up with "Whats the best deal for a F800GS, I want to buy from you not other dealers.."

Get atleast 3 dealerships offers up on here for all of us to have a gander. I'd push for full-set of Au bmw panniers @discount.
