So how does the 4-stroke feel versus the older (original) 2 -stroke?

Derek, It fuels a helluva lot better than the Dellorto carbed 315's, but not really had chance to try it in earnest

It's noisy......................in a lovely deep bark sort of way

Johnny

do you have someone walking in front of you laying rubber car matts over any rocks that you may be going over, so as not to scrape the sump guard

just an observation !!

Charming Dave.............especially from the 'groomed one' amongst GS'ers :D :D

Actually there is a very good reason - Alloy sump plate v resin coated wood sheet on scissor lift = very slippery combination

Rubber mats help keep the bike in place (and tools etc) unless you use the pegs spring holders

the full monty.

nice one dude, i've got the repsol rep. awsome bit of kit. is yours a repsol or has it just had a few bits added. not nocking but if its the full repsol did you get all the carbon bits with it. if you've got the programmable ecu i've a very good clubman map ind the software to load onto it, pm me and i'll send you a copy.
by the way don't take the ristrictors out of the header pipe as it makes it just to loud and change the oil and filter every 5 hours running, just keeps them nice and fresh.:thumb

Nice!! .. Dont do a sycomoto though and wear proper boots or you will end up with a dirty great scar on your leg, just like him Hee Hee:rob
