Yes makes perfect sense, however in a previous life i had a Volvo truck that had two separate horns, one was weedy, the other deep and throaty. So im wondering if its a sensible "bling" replacement as you say.
 
Think Del is asking about the Mini soundbomb, and not the very loud soundbomb, see video below and make your choice.

 
I took the mini soundbomb off my old bike and fitted it to my new to me GSA . It kept tripping the Canbus so I took it off. I’ve given it another go and so far so good.
As daft as it may seem it may be a case of the wires been connected incorrectly. I don’t know if this could make a difference or not but the Canbus connector will only go on one way!
Anyway, it’s not much louder but is deeper in tone.

I previously fitted a Stebel Nautilus to my bike and it made no difference to the number of near misses - despite the fact that it was very loud.

I then reflected on what my RoSPA and IAM examiners use - and decided what's good enough for them is fine by me.

Plus one for the larger sound bomb...it's like a truck...the mini one is not much difference, lots on you tube about them

This, 100%.

You will read how the fitting position is 'risky', but fit it correctly, use loctite and it's a super addition to a bike. The mini isn't worth the investment. The two piece works if you have something with less space.

On a recent European trip, although we had comms, a quick blast of the Denali and my mate reacted immediately - missed turns, whatever, within a good 100 yards or so. Use responsibly...

Bought mine from Nippy's - £75 for the whole fitting kit including loom, BMW conversion and mounting bracket.. Piece of cake to fit and makes a massive difference..

The bracket does not fit with certain engine bars, worth checking before, and as said needs loctite and double locking nut to stop it jumping off its bracket.
 
I hung the mini off the center frame lug ( right near the Vin number ) and hooked it up to the Denali Can Smart -Along with the Denali D4 and tail light. when you press the stock horn button the Mini sound bomb and stock horn go off together can you say LOUD....Almost Embarrassing LOUD

Interesting idea, would rather have the 2 small horns working together, and if the mini can be installed without the cansmart, added bonus, experts chime in please, anyone done that yet, some sort of dual canbus cable, or would it throw a wobbly with the canbus system.
