By the look of that you would also need the adaptor for the oem bmw horn

my thinking is a sort of double ended canbus cable with a bit of wire in middle to tap into, that way do not have to splice bike wires, so can remove at any time.

Yep ta Andi that was my thinking that is why I posted the PDF below to be sure, seems not a bad idea, and far safer than having that big thing hanging in the forks.

I dont know why they are bringing the ground from the horn it seems a waste of cabling, all thats needed on that loom is to tap the neutral off the cable going from the battery to the new horn supply and a single switched live from the bike horn.

Maybe a safety feature or to justify the price, but seen many dual horn cables out there with relays, and only a few dollars, so must be an easy hack to do.

Found this below, something like this for BMW would be awesome, obviously adding on a relay if needed.

So these are the connectors below, just need to find them in male and female now. 2 wires in the middle and fuse and relay and connector wires, should be good as a simple plug and play solution, and good sparks out there.

Its not hard to do yourself, I installed a relay on my dr peripherals so they only get power with the ignition on to save flattening the battery,the principle is basically the same with one circuit energising another.

So if I understand correctly, I make the dual ended cable, with a relay in the middle and attach the second horn to the relay, and hopefully it will work, and be simple plug and play.

You can make it the same way the pdf you posted is wired if you want to make it simple. Just find a place for the relay and make your ends to suit the required length. The relay is powered from the battery via the fuse ,when the relay coil receives a signal ( horn button press) from that cable it energises and allows power to the new horn via the new cable to it.

Right, i might go for the Soundbomb 120db kit. Am i correct in thinking if i fit it BOTH horns will work ?
