Denmark’s Marguerite / ‘Daisy’ route

That’s the lot:

I have checked them all by laying the MyRoutes over the the routes I saved to Pocket Earth Pro, Bar a (very few) occasional differences, they match entirely. I can tidy them up. That said, a couple of the differences are where the route on Pocket Earth Pro went in one direction, whilst the route I created by copying it manually, went in the other direction. This meant I had to slightly alter the route to allow for a one way or no entry street. Similarly, some very small sections were clearly bicycle only roads. These I had to skip around, obviously. I don’t think the differences are meaningful, nor should they interfere with the enjoyment of riding it. Do though check for yourself, if you use all or part of it.

Providing you set aside a bit of time to see some sights and sites, it would make an excellent (if lengthy) jaunt.

Printed on lightly plasticised paper, it has (as I hoped) the detailed route:

It also has the detailed bicycle routes around Copenhagen, as a bonus.

Overall, very good quality.

Cracking work there old chap! :clap

Thank you.

I think it’s an interesting thing the Danes have done. Honouring their much loved queen and opening up a route around their country for people to enjoy.

At about 2,000 miles long, it’s the same length as just one of the four legs of the German Motorcycle Route, I hope to ride next year. I now have a strange calling to ride all the ‘Daisy route’ in its entirety in 2027. Add in some things to see and do along the way, as well.

But first things first, as my mother always told me.
Looks to me like the Daisy Route has Himalayan written all over it.

Not in a navigational sense, of course. :)
