depressed - it's broken!

I have the HB Bars on my 1100, and they stick out as much as the above pic, I can't get them to touch down (except on the Ridgeway, but thats another Story), Saying that they do stick out just past my knees so I get the feel safe feeling when cars try to scare me on coming.

Saying that the 1200 cylinder heads don't look like they stick out so far anyway.

I can report that with a fully loaded bike (100kg rider, 100kg passenger), the first thing to touch down when cornering is the centrestand. I didn't have engine bars fitted at that time, but it seems to me that the more weight on the bike, the more the rear will sag, and so the bars (at the front of the bike) will become less likely to hit the gound.

I agreee with the Monkey though, I'm thinking of adding some "blobs" to my footpegs now I have bars fitted.
