Hey all, my daughter is doing photography in university.
Her summer project is to photograph derelict buildings.
Has anyone got any suggestions?

Denbigh Mental Hospital(Lunatic Asylum).
Old Mill, Trevor Road, Llangollen.
Slate workings at Aberleffenni.
Shotton Steelworks (John Summers) head office block at Harwarden Bridge.
X-Site at Rhydymwyn.

she could have picked up a difficult topic....:blast

it's wales try finding a non derelict house....:hide

Make sure she has permission to enter them because of the very great risk especially with old industrial buildings and old hospitals of asbestos.
We had loads of problems in local old abandonned hospitals with students taking photographs and a few actually ended up getting themselves locked up after pulling down boarding to get in.
However, once the scrappers started to get in as well and pull the asbestos lagging off the boilers and pipes we were vetoed from entering the buildings to lock anyone up or to turf out the photographers due to the health risks.

She can come and photo my house if you like, it's looking a bit of a mess since Alena went on hols to Russia a couple of weeks ago - still haven't found the vacuum cleaner or the dusters, oh and some of the plants are looking a bit limp - aren't they self watering :D:nenau:augie
