Destination unknown

Ok sat nav gurus, I have tried to select Dover Docks as a destination and failed miserably. Went to "near" command, spelt Dover and then tried POI, transport etc etc and even Dover Docks - failed !
I know that Dover Docks is easy to find, but I tried it as an experiment before going on a foriegn jaunt.
1/ What am I doing wrong ?

2/ I have registered the unit and updated both my PC and unit to 2010 maps - and changed the bike icon, sad but true. Do I need to use the 2009 DVD/disc that came with the unit or am I good to go ?

Tried on both 2009 & 2010.1 maps.

1) Where To
2) POI
3) Near - Dover, Kent
4) Transit
5) All Transit
6) 2nd in my list = Dover, Dock Exit Road. 0.1 ml, SW

Same for you ?

Cheers, certainly is, but when I opened the map I think it is a bus stop/station as it is situated away from the docks. Probably figure that when you are that close you can find it yourself

Looking at Mapsource, yes there is a Bus Icon just off the Jubilee roundabout.

Further along the same road is an Avis Icon.

That is the correct road that leads to the check-in booths.

It's called "Dock Exit Road", which is a bit misleading, as it sounds like it exits the docks, whereas it really means it exits the Country
