Destroyed LC. New GSA instead?

What is surging by the way?
Never experienced it.
Gearchange on my 1150 is the best i have ever had (and that includes hondas)
Rear drive is perfect 7 years of ownership on.
Only thing i thought I did was mash my gearbox on holiday, but that turned out to be wrong grade of oil (user error!) and after changing the oil, its sorted and lovelyness.

Just sayin

update on the grinding issue an clutch mod, took the bike in this morning for the push rod fix, got a call to say that they are keeping the bike and replacing the complete clutch assembly as its badly worn @ 5800mls they've also put on a new twistgrip as a recall update, gave me a new f800 to use, nice bike, flat as a fart tho
