Is it possible?

I'm used to running through a proxy server (when you can find a fast enough one :blast) but I have a need to run a second browser window with a hidden or different IP address....

IS this possible?

if you surfing from home then the broadband router gets its IP address from the ISP, this is the IP address that is "shown" to the websites accessed, not you internal "private" IP address, if using a USB broadband modem then this will also be your machines IP address, whilst its technically feasible to add more than one IP address (subject to hardware/firmware/operating system support) it will require your ISP to provide permission to use a 2nd IPaddress which doesnt really fly for home broadband, it may be possible to use a virtual machine client on your PC if using a network/wifi connected braodband router and allocate a virtual IP address to that, this however will still use your ISP broadband IP address though the website may consider that you are mulitple clients behind a proxy/internet router.

The only way I know of doing this is to use a different browser set up to use a different proxy, say Firefox for one proxy and Chrome for another.
