Whilst poking around changing the timing chain last year I noticed that my Diode board had been bolted directly to the engine case without the rubber dampers. Guilt got the better of me so I decided to do the right thing and fit the dampers back. Fitted them this week-end and found the front cover no longer fits coz the diode board is now taking up to much room and stops the cover from fitting. Doh!!!!! Never seen that before so I wonder if my diode board is an after market jobbie that is "Thicker" than a normal one. Any ideas?
