Disconnecting indicators

Done a search, but can't find a post on this - but I know there must be (at least) one :o

Anyway, I've undone the torx bolt holding the front indicator on and rotated the indicator to remove it from the bracket, but where do I disconnect the cable?

If it's the same as an 1150 ...

... the wires are disconnected behind the reflector and pulled out of the stem.
 
You hvae either disconnected the battery or are being carefull

or just not turned the ignition and the indicators on, AND shorted the live feed to the indicator to ground. if you don't do all of those things simultaneously, you'll probably survive :)

personally i wouldn't bother disconnecting the battery to play with the indicators :nenau
 
leave the battery in but put wellies on & wear a straw hat & you should be ok :D:D:D
