displaying tracks on a 550 help

So my mate and I are off to Spain / Andorra etc for some off roading on Friday. I have a bunch of tracks on my 660 that display fine and I can follow, but matey can't seem to load them onto his 550 and get them to display. It seems they were converted to routes (he thinks - this was over the phone last night).

So as I haven't had a 550, if you have a track in Mapsource/Basecamp, is there a way to load onto the 550 and display it on the map while riding?

When you upload from the PC to your 550 using mapsource I thought there was a tick box for you to select what is being uploaded, routes, tracks, way points etc.

yes we talked through him transferring the tracks, but either the 550 does something different to my 660 as my "off road tracks" icon doesn't seem to appear on his, we need to do something else, or the 550 cannot display transferred track.

I think the 550 does something odd with tracks, try searching google for info on converting tracks to routes for the 550.

cheers - yes he said something about routes so perhaps just displaying a track is not possible, and he'll have to set "off road/ direct route" in routing and enable the route - not want we are after but wil be good enough I suppose.
