My previous BMW was a R1200 GS TU 2012. This model was the last twin cams and despite spending over £7,500 in repair costs during my two years of ownership, I still deeply regret selling it. Thankfully, it was to a forum member whom promised to give her a good home!
I decided it was about time I had another, so I sourced a BMW R1200GS TE 2018 from Cooper BMW Motorrad Sunderland via the BMW Motorrad online approved bike service; total amount @ £14,100
Fundamentally, is it entirely reasonable that BMW Motorrad dealers would treat their customers with contemptuous cavalier indifference and seemingly use customers bikes as THEIR own courtesy or demonstrator bikes?
On 10.04.2019 I paid a deposit via debit card @ £250 and despite my request for the provision of bank details, these were not forthcoming until 20.04.2019, whereupon I paid the balance @ £13,850 via online banking faster payment.
However, the bike has yet to be delivered and upon my experience of their customer service, I am intrigued what is the general consensus of opinion on this forum.
Furthermore, it would appear the internet is awash with scathing derogatory reviews; (hindsight is indeed 20/20).
Moreover, a recent thread on this forum that was started on 22.04.2019 would strongly suggest the dealer is actually using my bike as a customer courtesy bike or a customer demonstrator.

a) My bike is the ONLY BMW R1200 GS TE 2018 in "their bike stock inventory";
b) My bike is still advertised as for sale on their own dealer website, Ebay and the BMW Motorrad approved website.
