Got my overnight ferry from Jersey to Portsmouth tomorrow and was intending to ride up for the NEC show. I'm about to cancel but thought I'd just get confirmation that the roads are no good and I'm a doughnut even thinking about it

I went up and back today from essex! no problem other than a bit cold and traffic

Its a good show and you can sit on the new Tiger i thought it would be roped off very nice , 2 books signed from Mr Manicom

weather supposed to be blowing over to the west. If you get what we've had in the North East - which is forecast - I wouldn't go, it is getting worse and the wind is picking up. The wind chill makes it alot colder than it already is, but you already know this.....

It took less than an hour to lay 2" of snow on a treated road last night, my chinese takeaway nearly went cold

Theres a gang of us intending to go from work this week but we will be in cars and definately thinking twice about going. My lad is supposed to be going with college, but they are not too sure now.

Roads around here were bad this morning I did give a thought as to wether you did or not.

think it was a good call

think I was lucky yesterday

I was going on Monday, got as far as the cafe in Sainsbury in Swindon then decided to turn back ... at -4C over the Marlborough Downs it was too fookin cold for me, my extremities were propper frozz and my RH bar heater had given up .... I must be getting old...

I'm gutted as was looking forward to seeing all the bikes & babes. Also always looking for opportunity to get off the rock and really open the bike up (800gs)
