Do i have the regular or low seat?

Yesterday, i picked up my new 1300. Great machine, as discussed many times before.

Also commented on before is that your position on the bike is different, a bit more sporty.

The distance between footpegs and seat has definitely changed, and I noticed it more than during my test rides. So much that I'm wondering whether I have got the low seat (by accident, I didn't order it).

I have the Adaptive Height thingy which makes measuring things a bit more difficult.

So, is there an easy way to determine if it is a low/regular/high seat?

There is a sticker on the seat with some codes on it, perhaps that says something?

This is indeed the code, and refers to the regular (heated) seat.

Closest I can find to your seat marking is this, standard seat (52531541509)

at a guess the last 3 digits your showing is for a standard heated seat.

Let me know if you’re still not sure as I have a standard height seat in the garage and I can take a photo of the numbers. Mine have adaptive height shite too.

The evidence seems clear though. The number at the top of the the sticker is the id and googling that ends up with the regular seat.

I'm coming from a 1200 and I'm just a bit surprised how much lower it feels (while riding). Mind, I don't think I'll have an issue with it, perhaps on the real long trips, but I suspect it's a matter of getting used to.
