Do I sell or keep ? RD07A Africa Twin ?

Keep it, get a standard pipe back on and make it utterly original , it will only ever increase in value

Its insanely simple. I have had a similar experience in life, actually more than once, and learnt the hard way. Always ALWAYS ditch the woman and keep the bike. One is a useful lifelong reliable friend always there for you and great fun to boot, the other is just a woman.

I rolled it out last weekend. For the first time in over a year. Man !! I used to think it was a very heavy bike. But compared to pushing big GS's around all day, it's actually remarkably light.

What always surpised me when I first ride it again is how slow it feels. And it is !! 50-55bhp perhaps ! It takes it's time to get up to 80mph on the motorway, but it will sit there all day without quibble. You aren't zapping past lines of cars on this bike. But it has enough power to make progress safely. It does take a couple of hours to adjust if you're used to riding zappy snappy modern bikes with bags of torque and power.

But once you settle into it, It's just lovely. The engine so smooth and has all power you really need on an ADV bike. It has oodles of charm, charactor and pleasure. With all the right smells and noises to accompany it. You just don't get that with a modern bike. They're too utilitarian. Sterile. Electronic.

Then you park it up. And it's now a bike that gathers a crowd and nods of approvement. Not just another GS in a line of other GS's.

I ain't selling it..... :)
