Do the 1150 use any AF bolt sizes?

I'm compiling a list of tools for the Calums Road Ride. Going to take as few as possible.

In that case I'm ditching all the AF socket sizes to make a smaller socket set.

Before I do this I assume as the bike is German all the bolts etc on it are metric. Now assumption is the mother of all feck ups so anyone know of anything different?

Also I think 22 or 24 is the largest metric size on the bike can anyone confirm this?

The whole bike is Metric.

There are,however,some oddball head sizes,such as some 15mm..... and,I seem to remember a 16mm (but that was on the Telelever pivot,and not likely to need attention while away).

The balljoint is 36mm if my memory serves me well,but that`s not too likely either.....or is it ??

The only bolt head I'd ever seen needing a 16mm spanner/socket was somewhere in the front suspension of a Peugeot 405. It's a size that seems to get left out of some spanner sets - I thought Peugeot used it just to be difficult. Same car also needed an 18mm socket/spanner somewhere in the suspension too...

The 1100/1150 has a few 16mm nuts - Also 14mm & 15mm

Thanks for the responses guys. I "knew" they'd be all metric but engineers do silly things sometimes.

Didn't want to be rounding off an AF sized nut with a metric socker in the middle of no-where.

Rear shock absorber mounting nut/bolt. 14mm and 15mm

rear subframe front mounting bolts 16mm

And there's more - anyone know where the 12mm nut & bolt lives ? or the opposite thread bolt ?

Or how about the 7mm allen headed bolt - lot of allen key sets don't even have a 7mm

Right hand mirror stem (on an 1100 anyway) - possibly the left too, but I've never removed that, so can't say conclusively

TT Oil filler plug is 7mm hex-key.
Torque arm bolt nut on 1200GS is 16mm (5/8" AF)
Why do they do these weird sizes ?

Yeah, forgot about that one. I now have three 7mm allen bits, mainly thanks to Peugeot.

Haven't had a Peugeot in years, and unlikely to have another. I'll probably never see another 7mm allen bolt (unless I fall victim to the lure of the airhead).
