Do you know the history????

Does anyone know anything of the history of either of these bikes? Both are for sale at Cannon in Chelmsford and both are very tempting in different ways.

1) Blue and White 51-plate GS with 17.6K miles on it. Black BMW top box fitted along with ABS and heated grips. Seller bought a new 1200GS I think. Up for £6995.

2) Sliver GSA on 02-plate. 5k miles on it. Engine bars ABS, pannier rails and black panniers, heated grips. A buy back Cannons I am told after the owner was unable to use due to medical condition. Up for £8395.

If anyone knows anything about the history of these bikes I'd be most interested as I hope to join the GS clan soon and these are my best bets I reckon.

Any comments on the price would also be of interest as I haven't been through the Beemer hoops before. P/X offered on my Triumph Daytona was a little lower than I would have liked but thats just life I guess!!

Have you thought of asking to see the documents, and taking a note of the previous owner detail on the log book?..

I did.. ! And he has been really nice and passed on some reciepts etc.. always worth asking previous owner.. they tell you all the things the dealer dont know, or wont say!
