I have a stupid question?
Why doesn’t the guy just get it transported in a van?? There’s a whole network of Eastern Euro van drivers. Wifey often gets heavy stuff delivered to mum in Romania this way. Definitely cheaper than buying Chris exotic beers, grub and boutique hotels
I’m mystified unless of course it is something more sinister being transported?!

Moving on day and heading to Strasbourg today and a bit of rain forecast for today. And agreed on the chain. It desperately needs oiling so if I spot a bike shop I'll get it done.
Also i can highly recommend this hotel

Probably going to try and do around 350 miles today and hopefully not much to do on Saturday so i can have a bit of time in Saint Malo.
